Iain,
I have a Thule 2 bike tow ball carrier where the bikes sit on the frame. Fits and removes in seconds and I have no issues with it. I've no experience of the 'hand-on' style. You're welcome to try the carrier out if it will help.

Thanks for the experience guys and waiting at the top of Clune...and to Billy for a few tips on getting to the top!
Still a long way to go with fitness. Hopefully I can hang on longer over the next few weeks.

Hi Billy,
As a new club member I could do with some coaching.
Sun a.m. is out due to club runs. Tues nights are out due to Time Trials. But can be flexible most other nights especially if it's in Inchinnan!

New to club, but would like to give this a go to see where my fitness level is at. If I can't hang on then I've no problem completing solo...at least the scenery should be good
I'll meet at ferry.

Paul,
Looking to give this a try for the first time, therefore I don't have a time.
But if you don't mind talking me through it, I'll happily partner you if you don't get any other offers!
Cheers

I have been using the CS100 (same without cadence) for years with no problems.
Reliable piece of kit.
Only downside is no backlight for early morning/night rides.
Cheers
