  1. Sorry, meant to say... hope those on the 65 miler had a great day! Mary
  2. A very enjoyable day, despite some hellish main road sections and cruelly placed hills when we were tiring at the end. We could not have had better weather for the event! Began the 100 miler in a JWCC trio (Kay, Mary, Matt) and saw Chung (Campbell H) and Alan C, as well as a couple of other JWCC supporters along the way. Many thanks to Iain Cowden for meeting up with us on the latter part of the route and helping our group come in to land. Legs a bit tired now - enjoyed the challenge though and the company along the way. What's next Kay?! Mary p.s. Anyone lucky enough to get a goody bag might want to tell us what we missed!
  3. Ok, will head to Lomond Shores for 7.10 -looking forward to it now ! Mary
  4. Happy to get there for sharp start . Joining instructions don't provide details of car-parking though...any suggestions? Mary
  5. Looking forward to it and really hoping the waterproofing of the numbers is a needless expense! Mary
  6. Enjoyed the run out today and the company and the weather - thanks (again) to Tony for suggesting the route. Not about next weekend, so have a good one! Mary
  7. Hope you all have a good run on Sunday ... the route I mentioned to Tony covers the same broad route/distance as the one he has proposed for this week with some variations - including the hill after Uplawmoor that we did last week! - so it may be a bit samey for 2nd April. I would be happy to suggest an alternative for consideration...others will have ideas and, for certain , will be quicker at the "map thingy" than me, so let's see some suggestions - I'm happy to join in with whatever . Mary
  8. Thanks for the company, loved the route! Won't be out next weekend but hope to see you thereafter. Mary p.s. Tony... Gallagher and Lyle folk/rock, superband in their own right, very popular in the '70s (so I'm told!) - let me know if you (or your brothers) want a T shirt!
  9. Won't make it on 31st , but hope you have a good day and the weather is good - we had a really good day on Arran as a group run in 2010, and would be good to do it again, so maybe later in the year? Mary
  10. Just realised the early start you have planned Would you be open to getting a later ferry? Mary
  11. A very enjoyable run today - thanks to all for the company, hope to see you next week
  12. I should know this...but what is the start time please? Mary
  13. Yesterday was a lovely run and a great day weather-wise - thanks to those in our "chapter" for the company and to the organisers for the hospitality overall - not sure which route our particular branch of the medium group followed, but we covered the miles intended and had a great time to boot !
  14. A really enjoyable run today and a fine effort (if I may say so) from the 9am group who were caught up with on the way back to Langbank/Houston. Well done to Ross. And thanks to the catering staff for the hospitality . See you next week. Mary
  15. Billy, I'll pick mine up from the clubhouse on Sunday if you don't mind taking it there. Thanks Mary
  16. I'm keen to join in again Tony - will keep an eye on the posts for the start up date, given Paul's query on the date of the Don Smith. Enjoyed last year's outings and will endeavour to keep up keeping up! Mary
  17. I absolutely agree on the Jets' dancing skills - - very impressive! Special prize category for next year? Mary
  18. Here here! A very enjoyable night - thanks again. Mary
  19. Is there any chance a top, to check size might, be available to try on at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday? M
