  1. Hi, Watch out for the folowing potholes: Greenock Rd (A8), Bishopton: There is a pothole between the Good Shepherd Centre and the Ingliston Equestrian Centre on Greenock Rd A8. It is a wheel breaker. Situated on the brow of a hill and measuring 3' x 2' x 6". Several cars have come a cropper. Probably requires a bit of resurfacing as the road round about is also poor. Houston Rd, Bishopton: between the cemetery and the weather station there is a stream running across the road. There is a pothole in the centre left of the stream. Take care!
  2. Thanks Jan, I have passed this on to my Councillor David Wilson as it sounds as if it is in Inverclyde. Regards, James
  3. Hi, Houston Road, Bishopton Good news! I can advise you that we have now carried out temporary repairs to the potholes. I would also add that this section of the road has been proposed for inclusion in the next years Roads Capital Investment Programme. Regards, James

As for the Dolan, seems someone else is also interested in it so I need to wait and see if they take it or not. 52cm would suit daughter Emma. What ever, I appreciate you thinking of us. James

  20. I think the Garmin 510 Team Bundle is the one to go for. Anyone agree?
  21. Hi, I have discovered the fun of Strava and my son and I want to have a bash at breaking some records, lol. I have an iPhone 4 on which I have both Strava and Run Keeper. This is not ideal for recording times since it needs to stay in a back pocket (a handlebar bracket is not practical in this climate). i.e. you waste time at the start and at the finish pressing buttons while stationary. So I am thinking of a Garmin which will accept HRM, has longer battery life, etc. I am sure there are other advantages of a Garmin. Does anyone have one for sale, or recommend which one to go for? Thanks, James
