  6. Hi Bunch, I was put in touch with Vic Polanski of the Dundee Thistle cycling club and he managed to unearth a very good condition old Campag axle for me plus some Nouovo Record chainrings by way of a bonus. Please keep Vic in mind if you are struggling to fnd a part. Regards Ken Hume
  7. Hi, I am on the lookout for a vintage Campagnolo ISO square taper bottom bracket set to suit a 1970's Record (Strada) double chainset. I think that this had the original part designation 68 SS 120 but anything considered to be able to fit this prestige chainset to my bike and hopefully get it working. Regards Ken Hume
  8. Hi Hertz, I'll take your wheels if they are still on offer. Check your Pm's. Regards Avis
  9. Hi, I am on the lookout for a new or used but serviceable condition axle for an old Stronglight 49D chainset. The axle should be stamped with a 120 (width) mark. Please have a rumage in your old bits box and see what you can find. Regards Ken Hume
  10. Hi, Does anyone have any ideas where one can buy 27 x 1.25 wire on tyres with a round type profile for an old bike. I used to run John Bull tyres but I don't think that they exist any longer but it would be good to find some even if they were second hand. Send me a PM please. Regards Ken Hume
  11. Hi Simon, Can you or anybody else confirm if the TA crank removal tool is compatible with the Stronglight 49D. Thank you for the rapid reply and please note that I have also sent a note to you off line. . Regards Ken Hume
  12. Hi, Does anybody have a tool set to remove 1970's vintage Stronglight 49D and / or a Campagnolo Strada chainset tucked away in the corner of an old toolbox or drawer that they would consider selling to help me with my bike restoration project. Please send an email to [email protected] or call me on 01256 881344. Regards Ken Hume
  13. Hi, I was a school boy cyclist on Clydeside back in the 60's and now deeply regret selling my Flying Scot bike. I would like to buy another, preferably in good condition and ideally equipped with a cotterless chainset, 10 speed Campag gears and 27" quick release wheels. Please send digi pic plus asking price to [email protected] or call me on 01256 881344. Bike would need to be delivered to Dumbarton. Regards Ken Hume http://www.kfhume.freeserve.co.uk
