The club are organising this event at the Westferry course on Sunday - with a 9am start. Once again calling on volunteers to help out with various duties on the day - from 8am - 12.
Can you please post here if available.
Here's hoping for a good day

Hi Kenny,
A wider search and you may find it though i confess i havent tried it myself. Simply due to the fee involved the club would prefer (and indeed gain from) not using Paypal as a form of payment.
Direct transfer (with appropriate description) is best and so I will pm you the bank account details n hope that is ok for you.

I'd be interested in the Majorca option and April timewise is fine for me. Brilliant roads and cycling friendly there at the best of times
-
Hi Billy,
Happy to fit in whenever dates enable but it would be good to be accredited before the SCH velo opens.
Posted my support of a joint venture to you.
-
Count me as as 1 Billy. Wee practise for Glasgow.

An excellent turnout for the first club TT of the year which was run in reasonably good conditions. The course was indeed shortened due to roadworks and possibly by more than the 10 sec difference some optimists suggested
The scores on the doors were -

11 Kenny C & Vicky 15.34
10 Davie & Campbell 15.38
9 Iain McG & Charlie 16.40
8 Mulholland Snr, Jnr 16.53
14 Mark O & George 16.56
4 Paul & Josh 17.23
5 Paul C & Alan 17.56
1 Ross 19.15
6 Kay & Jody 19.21
2 Carol & David 19.48

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the quick reply, if you could pm me the bank details then I could just log on and transfer the money.
Thanks Jonathan

Hope either of these work for you

Martin,
There are lots of hire shops in Majorca and I guess it will depend on your location however I hired from a place in Playa de Palma last year and (if that's convenient - would be for Magalluf) I would recommend it - give me a shout if you need more details.

So that they can send on to bona fide paid club members :-)

Re: Membership - Joining and Renewal
does the membership run jan to jan or from when you join(august) i would hate to have people talking about me for not renewing.
iain
Hi Iain,
Membership runs from AGM-AGM so typically from November each year.
There is usually a dispensation for those individuals who join Sept / Oct however I would be incline o waive your need for a 2012 sub if you joined in August. Next renewal November 2012.
For those having difficulty paying via the site a cheque payable to JWCC sent to me would suffice,
Ian Manson

Bestof luck for 2012

Hi Iain,
Not sur4e of any electricians / plumbers who would suit.
Sorry
-
At the AGM on Friday the fees for 2012 were set. They reflect no increase from 2011 and are,
Senior £25
Family £45
Junior £12.50
Youth £12.50
OAP £5
For participation in
Club Confined £3
Clubroom Training £2
For subscriptions preference would to pay by
Cheque - payable to JWCC and sent to me at 81 Kilpatrick Avenue, Paisley PA1 9EA, or,
Transfer to Bank of Scotland (Sort 80-16-53, Account 00235821). If using this method please be sure to add a narrative noting your name and purpose of deposit.
Many of you have opted to pay via Paypal and whilst this does remain possible it does mean that £1.05 of every £25is retained as a payment fee and so lost to the club.
We would prefer payment be made by cheque or bank transfer though cash in a brow bag left for me is equally welcome :-)
We will be spending more money is completing further work in the clubrooms and hope to be placing a clothing order soon so early settlement would e appreciated
Thank you
Ian Manson

The club AGM will be held on Friday 11th November at 1930 in the club rooms.
All members are welcome to attend and like last year we will be providing some carry out food by way of a bribe to encourage attendance.
If there are any proposals to amend the club rules or constitution these should be notified to myself (PM will do) by the end of the month.
Thanks and hope to see a good turnout

Thanks Alan - good spot. Maybe you were behind me for longer than i thought but am suspecting not. Got the new lights so I should be a bit safer next time, certainly a lot more visible. Just need to get some mudguards to adorn the Fuji which used to belong to Mr Steele. See Kenny I am using it - but not on the fixed gear.

Sam Dooley 25 Mile TT - Sunday 25 August

Thanks to all those who have offered to help on Sunday. Previous exprience would suggest we need 12 marshalls on the road so a few more volunteers would be great.
As Kenny S mentioned any offers of food would be greatlyappreciated.
The event starts at 9, sign on from 8 at the Bishopton Community Centre and as you have seen elsewhere there is a full field of 90 riders - its a very good quality field so it could be interesting.
I know its a big commitment afterthe efforts of last week so cheersfor the support to date.
Good luck also to those members competing in the 25 and elsewhere over the weekend.
