I man he was a right mad man. After he was having a relaxed chat with his mate in the middle of the rd they was not for moving so i opted ot go through the middle of them. he then did a burly and followed me and gave me some BIGTIME abuse. its not worth it is it? Kenny , I think its a great idea but this is something that you probably would have to ask the comm and seek aproval or just bring it up as an idea. The club as far as i know only order one time per year and certain personel would ask on the bunch who wants to order what etc........ Ok a mark of repspect is due ot all that took part and everyone of them are NEW STARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well don guy's! 10 mile hilly TT started the night at 18:30 from Langbank to Houston and back. Ok i thought i had seven lives with the amount of crashes and Knock down i have had ............. Scott Donaldson was out on his bike over Aberfoyle way , next hing he knows he is in the A&E chattin up the nurses Scott here was knocked down by an oncoming vehicle. Thankfully his Legs of steel where not affected at all by this terible ordeal. However the Dr Tells him that he has to stay aff his Machine for 3 weeks........ So what now scott?? what you going to do man? Watch T.V. Man and have a good look at your C40 and think to yourself i want to ride you? You could however go and watch the cycling at the velodrome as your not that far? What do you think Dougie??? Can he stay aff his bike for 3 weeks??? Hope you recover mate! Managed to get away in time to be at the opening of the Cycle track to Quariers village. Arrived at 4pm on the dot and seen Kat , Les Muir and Donald Scally. 3 JWCC in attendance for the Cause! MAny photographers from several news papers taking photo' s, Quite a good group of people turned up with special guest brian Burnet.(The ginger haired dude from the TV - I only know him as i was off ill for a few weeks and was forced to watch "Unemployment" T.V.) We all gathered at the new entrance and had to slowly drop down into quariers village - behind our group we had roughly 20 odd school kids on bikes and we made it look like a chain gang effect with the paparazi snapping away. Quite well organized and lets hope it will encourage others to use the track! The new route to Quariers village looks like a mini alpine descent! For a 5 year old it would feel like a mini Alpe D'Huez climb on the way back up. All very impressive! Great to se so many youngters enjoying the bike's and some of them even raced up the climb giving it full Malky with Donald Scally doing a bit shouting behind them UP UP UP UP UP!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to sure about the full history of that new bike track into Quariers but i did over hear someone saying the reason for this gathering was to show thanks to the local people who all Helped to raise Cash for this to be build. Do what i did and buy it direct from the LAF website and pay the money to a cause direct. Exactly dougie why should you pay 2 quid for a band ???? They are making money of that no doubt. It costs next to nothing to buy a bag of ten , checkit out on his webiste. the only problem is that it takes 5-7 weeks before you get the order. I bought mine on the 20th of february and got the bag on the 19th march.less time than what it says. Well worth the wait and you know that the cash is going direct to the foundation.
