2023 Subscriptions gregbalden Posted September 27, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 Garmin 200 in aldi, £50. Was £70, thinking of buying it? Any good? Worthwhile at that price? Or wait to get a second hand higher model, or just a higher model?
ChrisB
I paid £78 for mines at the start of the year and have been satisfied with it. When I get back from a ride and connect it to my laptop, it automatically uploads the data and syncs with Strava & Endomondo. I had no issues using my phone, but find this more convenient - especially on rainy rides. Recently I've been keen to capture my HR and I don't think it's possible with this. I also can't add photos taken on Strava runs to the ride detail when it's been uploaded from the Garmin. PS - Is your old man's name also Chris? 2023 Subscriptions gregbalden Posted September 27, 2015 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 Yeh heart rate mons aren't compatible, I like the idea if a GPS comp that can move between all the bikes, and for £50 seems decent. Re: ATC you would be correct, you'll probably know Jac also then? Haha
