Stevie Blom
Last night the weather just before the start wasnt the best but it still did not stop the mad men !!! The Glasgow Road Club had there Confined TT which is the last this week before the start of there 2 up / Team Time trial Next wednesday. The George tn is bad enough to ride on in good weather but after some heavy rain it was like being on a pedalo........ The Joansin did a Team event whilst the GRC did a Solo event... here are the Results, 1st Stevie B & Alan Holmes 16:14 2nd Angus Morrison (Paul Mcs.. is this his surname??? need it for the herald) 3rd Scott Trackman Dunwoody 17:20 4th David , Amanda , Stevie Hicky 18:04 5h Jamie Morrison 18:30 6th Jim Daly + Partner 19:21 7th Scot Mac 19:40 8th Ian Loughran 19:43 9th Auld Rough Rab Robbie Robertson 20:38 (Selling his Carbon TT Frame for £200) Thought i would doing this on my own as i turned up on my rd bike. then i seen Big Al hinging about on his own with his cheesy grinn ready to rip up the tarmac........Well He did and i hung on like chewing gum on yer birds new hair doo. Big thanks to Gentleman George Cowan for time keeping (Jack must have had his sensible head and kept in doors) tonight. I wont be down next wednesday as i will be off on holiday. Would be an advantage to get the Team time trial teams together and practice for the Milport event which is only under 10 miles. Adios Amigos Stevie B.
