I surmise it's so many laps of the circuit in the velodrome grounds, probably divided into ability appropriate groups. Or, in my case, half a lap of watching the group pull away quickly followed by glancing over my shoulder as it comes back into view again. Could be a laugh though and a good way to spend a Saturday morning It's Bugs Bunny !
