Stevie Blom Posted January 12, 2005 Report Share Posted January 12, 2005 Just got an email from Christian! He tell's me that he went out for a social ride on his bike last sunday. Unfortunatly a car driver decided to crash into him! he explains that he did not FALL and did not get injured BUT his rear wheel got wrecked! the car driver seemed to think it was not his fault but after some shouting and bawling from the bigman he soon put him in his place. The driver then gave up and accepted that he was at fault this ended in an agreement of a payment for 140 EURO to replace the the damaged wheel. Thankfully the he was not injured and is ok. O, and the driver even gave him a lift back to the bigman's house! Before that he was involved in a race and his stem broke off !!!!! He some how managed to control the bike and bring it to a halt without FALLING off! I remember him practicing his sprinting with Dougie in France.. and Dougie winning by half a wheel.
