The 1st one is an inverted carrier and will suit any bike as the bike is clamped on the saddle and handlebars. This one is all steel except the saddle holder which is plastic. The 2nd one is all steel with 2 alloy brackets on the wheel holders. It will take skinny wheels and a max. down tube diameter of around 55-60mm. Both carriers will fit standard steel roof bars, the inverted one will fit alloy "aero" roof bars but I'm not sure if the upright one will. Both carriers have sat in my shed for a few years and except for some curd have no rust and are in good condition. I'm asking £15 each.
