Members Kenny MacDonald
Bobbie Finnie is shutting up after 48 years in the cycle business. Anyone who has set foot in his shop will tell you its like taking a step back in time He is closing up at end of month and needs to clear the shop, you are not likely to find any modern bargains but retro and classic parts in abundance. Rumour has it he has a stock of Campag Nouvo Record still in the boxes Pop into the shop in Maryhill road to savour the atmosphere one last time and witness the double act with brother Frank. They are the last of the old traditional glasgow bike shops .
Dougie Da Rosa
I met Bob at Applecross campsite 4 years ago and had a great chat,he came wandering over when he saw my De Rosa and we spent hours chatting.A really nice guy with some great stories...I might stop off on a road test in a new XF and bring some modern look to the place!!,only problem is that being Maryhill the wheels might be gone when i come back out!!!! Guest DavieR
Such a thing would never happen in Renfrew of course.
