Alan
Now that the summer is almost over who fancies a different day in the saddle. Sure some of you have been before but Glentress offers a different way to have a lot of fun and still have a good work out. Would there be any interest for a club run at Glentress on either the weekend after Millport (23rd September) or the week after 30th September. Those that don't have a mountain bike can easy hire one at the bike shop on site although forward booking is needed Alan
Colin H
Hi Alan, I would be interested in a run to Glentress. Have only been out on the mountainbike once sofar this year so should really justify its existence and dust it off. What route would you be doing? Colin. Tony
What about Sunday 7th October - there is a cyclocross on at Peebles that day (Haylodge Park). You could go down early and ride the trails at Glentress for a couple of hours and then do the cyclocross (£8 entry, MTBs welcome).
Alan
Colin I tend to ride a mixture of red and black trails with some blue thrown in for Sharon. This way go can avoid some of the busiest sections but stil get a good run in but it all depends on who wants to ride and their experience, we can sort out the final route on the day.
