Looks like we should have half a dozen or so for Sunday morning

Weather looks good http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/dayforecast.asp?zipcode=Johnstone&day=2

9am sharp at the clubrooms at the bottom of Miller Street http://www.multimap.com/maps/#hloc=GB|PA5%208HP

For those who like to know in advance we'll be heading down the cycle track to Glengarnock, round the industrial estate, Barmill, Gateside, Greenacres with the option at the Barcraigs Reservoir to drop straight down into Howwood and home or else pay a visit to the International Bike Polo Tournament which should be in full swing at Lochwinnoch before heading back up the cycle track to Johnstone. Follow the link for more details

Just over the 30 mile mark

See you all then

Finally a dry day for the bike.

The inugural outing of the Thirty Milers seen a mixture of newbies and returners.

Fraser, Greig, Bill, Ken McDonald, Bill, Davie R and myself set off down the track as planned following a slight detour through Johnstone town centre due to flooding at teh cycle track entrance

A pleasant trip down Glengarnock before looping round the RNAD, Barmill, Gateside and Greenacres and back down to Lochwinnoch to take in the Bike Polo Tournie

A particular well done to Greig who has probably doubled his ride length record and was still looking as though he could have done it all again when we got back to Johnstone

Tune in next week. The more the merrier

Kenny
