It was a good day out last year, ask some of the guys that rode it. Free food at first check and at finish. You can enter on the line, but I'd appreciate a phone call or email to warn me. The course is the same as last year. Frank Posted June 25, 2007 Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 Mike F, Howie, George, Kat, Eddie and me mingled with the real audaxers and took part in the annual kapers run. Started off in glorious sunshine but that was short-lived and for most of the day it was wind and rain broken by more wind and rain. Plenty of climbing as expected which was a real slog for some of us. However, the company was excellent and the banter first class A vote of thanks to Dave for all his efforts. As usual, the organisation was spot-on and everything went like clockwork. Well done Dave!! Apologies if I've missed anyone out. I'm off for a lie down now to rest my (still) weary legs! Frank. Especially as he was unable to take part due to illness, leaving home at 5am and returning at 11.30pm shows his commitment to organising a first class event.
