Dougie Da Rosa Posted August 29, 2006 Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 On my way to work this morning on my bike I was going over the Millenium Bridge at the Clyde next to the Crown Plaza Hotel and a lot of the big squads were out checking over their bikes and kit so I squeezed through the barrier and had a good old wander around,speaking to various folk and checking out the bikes,carbon galore!!. It was impressive and no-one minded a bit,maybe co's I was on my good bike and dressed in all my posh Assos gear !!.I even got chatting to the Race Director,a thoroughly nice slim chap who asked how I was getting on and even asked what I had been doing recently,!!...Eh?,you ask,what you going on about?..It was Brian Smith,Honorary Member of our club.Good on him and watch out for him on the telly in the coming days.
