Hertz Van Rental
Did anyone ever collate an accurate list of these? I recall something about this earlier in The Bunch (or it's predecessor?) but don't know what the outcome was? Ladies records should be easier, but the longer distance men's ones could go back a wee bit? Teams too.............
Guest fatblokeonbike
If by records, you mean personnel - http://www.johnstone-wheelers.co.uk/off_display-all.php is a page I've pulled out of the web site's back-end Admin Suite, listing the Club's Officers from 1926 onwards (all that I could trace from eighty years of Minutes, that is). I did this in 2003 and the upkeep needed only a modicum of work at the end of each AGM. Alas, the Secretary, and the following Secretary, displayed no interest, so I, too, lost interest by mid-2005. If by records you mean riders and times, there are many typed sheets of wartime records which Wattie Buchanan sent to Club members serving in the North African Desert and on the Western Front, as a friendly gesture, keeping them in touch with what little was happening with the Wheelers. You're welcome to try and transcribe these into digital format if you like, but you'd have to be orf'ly, orf'ly keen. I've read them all (as far as I know ) and cannot visualise any but the most specialised interest in them. Dunno if there's any other material anywhere. We could certainly be doing with the recording of older Members' memories, anecdotes and stuff. Hertz Van Rental
I was thinking along the lines of current race times Iain, Example - Ladies 10ml TT = Katrina - 21:46 (?) 2006 etc etc I'm curious to see if any youths have ever beaten the 10 and 25 times set by Iain Campbell in 1982? I think I may have the junior 25 with a 58:31 in 1985? Stewart Duff would almost certainly have the mens 50, and Paul Tiggerdine the 100, 12hr should still be Willie Gibb from 1987? Kenny? Did Stewart do anything longer? I'd doubt it because if his back problems?

Members Kenny MacDonald
Gordon have been busy in school plus organising World cup polo event in York. Stewart never raced any more than 50 as you said because of severe back problem. I will dig out his 10 ,25 & 50 times and post on bunch in due course.
