  1. Hi the Scottish N° 1 cycling mads!! How is life going for you? I'm sure you are still all training every week end at the Bird in Hand, and that polo cycling is going on! I know it because my French friend Martin Keir keeps me uptodate! I'm racing again for more than one month now, and that's very good because I didn't have time to race in March and April because of to much work for uni. But now I'm having a placement in a bank for SME's and so I can spend the week end on the beautiful carbon Time... and behind a buzz with my friends also of course! The results are not too bad for the moment and my condition is getting better and better. But I have not much time to train much during the week because I finish every day at 6pm... so I'm of course totally "fresh" to race on week ends. I eneded second last sunday in the regional championships of time trial under 23 years old (Espoirs) , I hope it will enable me to do the France championships onthe road in end August. With Martin Lonnie every thing is going good. He is a nice guy, my father has found out a nice accommodation for him and we lend him a car that we don't use to much. So he can move and go shopping with it. He didn't have any impressive result until today, mainly because of bad luck, but his condition is getting beter every week. He trains very hard, that's for sure. So we expect him to win races when he will be back from Britain in June. Everybody appreciates him in the club. This week end I have two criteriums to ride, tomorow in my home city in Hyères and monday in Draguignan. Hope I will be good. And next week saturday I have the Regional Championships on the track, in which I can qualify for the France track championships if I finnish in the two first. Best regards from big Christian.
  2. Dear darryl, Congratulations to Claire and you for the birth of your new child But don't put him right now on a bike, maybe you should wait some years... Hear from you.
  3. Hi everybody! How is cycling going in Scotland? Still the beautifull wether of last automn? Yesterday we had the first race on the track of Hyères. It's always great, I like so much the track! I had only two trainings on the track since I came back from Scotland, but I went well. I drink much less beer than in Scotland , so Soan I'm waiting for you to kick your ass overhere on the track I finished 6th on the first scratch race on 20 laps, I won the elimination race , and I was 5th in the last scratch race. So I finally became third in the overall. It's always a good feeling to win a race, even when it's only a stage. And this morning I went cycling with a club of cyclo's of a friend. It was not riding very hard, but it's always beter than riding alone. And after an hour, we wanted to turn left in Le Lavandou to climb up to Bormes-les-Mimosas. But just on that moment the professional team of Crédit Agricole passed us. So I said to my friends good-bye and I jumped in their wheels. I was so happy, I spoke during all the tour to Damien Nazon, Benoît Salmon, Thor Hushovd, Bradley Wiggins... That was so great! We made a big trip along the sea cost first, and into the lands after. Martin Keir gave me every week when I was in Scotland the Cycling Weekly revue, and Bradley was always mentionned in it. So I told him that he was famous in UK, and we spoke about Scotland. I told him I was sutying there. "Where did you study? In Edimbourg? - No, in Paisley. -Oh, I know that town! -And I also joined a cycling club overthere, the Johnstone Wheelers... -... Hey I know this club, I've already heard of them!" He answered me. So you are very famous guys!!! He told me that he often went to his friend Chris Hoy in Edimbourg. During the climbing of hills I had big difficult to keep my big body in their wheels, so I was hanging at the car of Roger Legeay, the directeur sportif. And after four hours I was totally kapout. So when we arrived in Collobrières, I decided to stop at my gran-parents' place. So I told everybody goodbye after 4hours and 40min and 140km. So that was a great cycling week-end on the French Riviera, with some excellent advertising of the JWCC to one of the best British cyclist Regards from Christian.
