Will anyone be playing a week on Friday? I need to know by this Friday so I can cancel the booking if necessary.

Hi Kenny, Good to hear that you are still getting a game. Our turnouts have been pretty good considering we've lost yourself & James. Once upon a time there was a guy who didn't know when it was appropriate to PM...... It is a work in progress, although granted there has been little progress.

Game on at Linwood on Friday. Usual booking from 6.30-7.30pm, but try to be there for 6.15 so we can get a full hour of play. Who's playing this week?

Alan, it is in my back garden. If it has rained recently then you might be in for a wet bum tomorrow!! If its any consolation it's lying beside mine. Do you want a lift? 6.00ish?

Game on at Linwood Sports Centre. : I checked with the staff who handle the bookings. The football team who tried to come on to the pitch at 7.00pm last week actually has a booking from 7.30 to 8.30 and this has been confirmed to their coach. In other years we have usually been able to run on a bit late and this has meant that we didn't have to start at 6.30 sharp to get a decent game. If we want to get a full hour's play this winter we should aim to get to the sports centre about 6.15 so we can get organised early. We had our first hard court player join in last week and Derek played very well. He reckons we'll get three or four of them playing most weeks so we should have good games for the next few months. Who'll be playing this Friday? If you need a bike let me know in advance.

I'll be going for bikes just before the game. Getting one for Ian & one for myself. Anyone else short of a bike for tomorrow?

Game is definitely on for Friday 13th 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Alasdair, Fergus & myself are playing. Fergus is going to contact Howard & I'll contact Martin, James and Ian. If anyone has contact numbers for other players can they PM me with details or else let them know that the game is on? I'll contact the hard court guys. Can anyone confirm that the bikes are still in the container and, if so, who has the key? If you intend to play please reply so we can make sure that a bike is available for you.

Handed everything in today to Sports Centre. Looks like the first game will be Friday 13th but I'll post again to confirm.

Sorry folks. I lost my internet connection for a while there and have been caught up in a couple of things which have stopped me making any arrangements. I'll speak to the Sports Centre tomorrow and try to get things up & running. Kenny, do you have contact details for the hard court guys?

Very sorry to hear of Iain's passing. As stated by both Kenny & Paul, Iain made a great contribution to the club over the last few years. Pat

No, I never got it back after the group went to Majorca. I can't remember what happened exactly but I know it got a wee bit damaged and somebody either gave me cash or some equipment for it.

Game on at 6.30 as usual. This looks like being the last one on the astroturf for now. No game next week as it clashes with the Dublin tournament. Has anyone got a bike bag they could lend me for next weekend? Ta Pat
