Hi Guys the Dev squad and friends are having an awayday memorial run on Saturday . Davie passed away on the 15th. of Feb last year and we are doing one of his favourite rides. Route :- Western ferry 9:50am boat Loch Eck , Strachur , Glendaruel, Loch Striven, Hunters Quay 52 miles ferry to ferry. Weather dependant ( and knowing how much luck we have had in past trips thats a big if !) All welcome to join us , but please note it will be a very steady pace to Strachur then regrouping on climbs.

Route will be a North Ayrshire back road extravaganza , which will be made up on the day as we go !!!

Aye but what event Jim ? , I hear that you have bought a wig and shaved your legs

The road up thru the scheme is called Arran Drive and was used in RRs a couple of times over the years as part of a circuit . Glad James remembered the proposed circuit this morning. Gutted I couldnt join you for run this morning but laid low with bad cold ( or man flu as my boss called it ) Hope to see you all next week maybe over the river if weather inproves. Kenny MacD

Good squad of riders today Greg, James ,Jonny , David were joined by Iain C , Colin , Kenny C and Kenny M joined by Willie Cosh for a short spell. A 60 miler in cold and foggy conditions for most of the day. Stunning views of Arran snowclad hills popping out of the mist. Superb habble from top of West Kilbride climb to Dalry followed up by a habble and gallop into Lochwinnoch. Sore legs all round , but another good training session

Dev Squad run leaving clubrooms at 9:45am sharp. North Ayrshire coast run. 50-60 miles

Hi planning a weeks training camp , from Saturday 27th. - 3rd. April cost for accom . approx £50 per head for a cottage if we have 5 people. Holiday dates here are different so its not a school holiday in Renfrewshire ( helps some not others) Looking for a quick show of hands if interested . Plan is travel Saturday morning then do as many days cycling as possible, both on and off island . cheers

For sale Giro aero helmet , Blue size medium £35 James has used it this season sparingly , new helmet makes it redundant and I have no need for a go faster helmet not that I go that fast that I dont require extra help but have no intention of racing
