I've entered the challenge of setting a new world record for the largest rowing class, with a target of 250 participants undergoing a rowing class for 1 hour at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome (cycling link) on Saturday 7th June. I've decided to do this and raise money for Prostate Scotland, a charity devoted to informing, advising and helping on prostate health issues. This morning we had 214 people taking part in the largest rowing class to establish a new world record (subject to ratification), rowing continuously for 61 minutes.
