So I'm typing this while sat in a Kilmalcolm cafe, waiting for my wife to pick me up.

Left home 3 hours ago & got a puncture within a mile. No probs. changed tube & set off again.

Was heading down clune, doing about 40 when a total balloon pulls out from the short cut, leaving only a couple of feet between me & the kerb. I jammed on brakes to the extent my back wheel was fishtailing all over the place. Left with nowhere to go I had to bunny hop onto pavement then jump back off to avoid a pram.

Don't have a clue how I stayed upright.

Somewhat shaken but decided to press on.

Headed up Whynn at my usual snails pace, 2nd puncture at top. "my word" I exclaimed.

Changed tube again & kept going then got 3rd puncture ( rear wheel this time)

So now had to hoof it approx 4 miles to the coffee shop in Kilmacolm.

A bit fed up but I'm just wanting home for dinner & a turbo session :-P
