Peugeot Retro single-speed for sale. £125.00

 

This bike has just be re-built from scratch, so fully cleaned and regreased.

 

The frame is approx 20 years old and was in good condition for age. I have re-touched the paintwork and it looks superb.

I have listed the bike spec's below. Any questions just ask.

 

The bad points - The cranks and chainring are okay but not brilliant. The tyres are used with a few small nicks, but still alot of miles left in them.

GEOMETRY:

SEAT TUBE centre to top: 57cm

SEAT TUBE centre to centre: 53.5cm

TOP TUBE centre to centre (horizontal): 56cm

STAND OVER height: 81.5cm

 

SPECIFICATION:

FRAME: Peugeot Elite GT. Carbolite steel frame and fork

BARS and STEM: Original bars (cropped short) and original stem. New bar-tape.

SEATPOST and SADDLE: Original steel post with New Planet X saddle

CHAINSET and CRANKS: 44T front with 170mm cranks. New chain.

SPROCKETS: New 16T and 18T rear sprockets and spacers

BRAKESET: Shimano calipers from 2006 TREK 1000.

BRAKE LEVERS: CLB. New outer cables.

WHEELSET: 105 hubs with Shimano freewheel, respoked 500 miles ago onto new FIR Rims

TYRES: Michelin Carbon 700 x 23c.

I still have this single-speed for sale, cant bear the eBay hassle to sell it.

 

I'm happy to let it go for any reasonable offer, its sitting around gathering dust.

 

It will take mudguards, so if anyone is looking for a cheap winter-training/commuter bike then this will suit.
