Guest Jim Daly Posted August 13, 2008 Report Share Posted August 13, 2008 Update From Braveheart: The West of Scotland Cycling Association (WOSCA)is pleased to anounce that the posponed Glasgow Grand Prix circuit races will now go ahead on Saturday 13th September 2008 following the departure of the Tour of Britain from Glasgow Green. There will be two events as follows: Event 1: Support race for 4/V4/W/J 40 mins plus 5 laps Event 2: Scottish Criterium Championships for E,1,2,3,J, VE-3 (to include WOSCA senior criterium championships) Event 1 is scheduled to begin at 10.30am and Event 2 at 11.45am (all approximate times). Due to the short timeframes involved all entries for the Scottish Championship will only be accepted via entrycentral.com with a closing date of Sunday 7th September. Entries for the support race can also be made via entrycentral.com although entries will also be taken on the day up to 30 minutes before the start of event 1. WOSCA would like to thank Scottish Cycling for the major effort in securing the permission to hold these events and wish all competitors a safe and enjoyable race.
