Gary declined the chance of a cafe stop at Largs. I'm told that Steve Flindall joined us for a bit but he seemed to be in a hurry and went past us in a blur. Donald opted for a long lie-in and met us coming the other way at Loch Thom. Nice weather made a huge difference today. Frank and I have now agreed not to give up cycling, after all. I was please that Zdanik was spotted out this morning. The last time I saw him he was following my directions along a high back road from Bridge of Weir and I feared that he may have become hopelessly lost.
