Guest fatblokeonbike
Those riders who were at the Erskine Hospital Century Ride last Sunday may recall being joined, upon their return, by Johnny Dickson, an old member of the Club, who is, unfortunately, confined to a wheel-chair. Johnny is a resident of Erskine and is quite frail nowadays and, having suffered a stroke some time ago, has little speech left; as so often in these cases, much of what you say to him goes unacknowledged. However, when I said to him I had been talking to http://www.johnstone-wheelers.co.uk/indiv_pages_display.php Joe Brunetti, our oldest member, there seemed to be a response, so I called Joe and we went along to Erskine yesterday to show Johnny the photographs from Sunday. Some of these included himself of course and, when we left, he was clutching them quite firmly. If you know any older members who may remember Johnny, perhaps you could bring them up to date.
