  1. Hello everyone,

I managed to out for a ride in December and was hoping to get out again tomo, I see a few people are meeting at Barshaw Park. Do you guys then hit the cycle path ??? I'm cycling over from Renfrew and was wondering if you would be heading same way ???

    Thanks Jonathan

  2. Hello everyone,

Hope Christmas was good and a happy New Year has been had so far by all.

I am looking for any recommendations for some Work to be done on my bike, I got new bars for Christmas and would like them swapped over and while the levers are off get new cables etc fitted. I had thought of doing this myself but for some reason the gears scare me

I also got a Ribble frame at Christmas and I'm starting to get parts together for this so I will need a shop/mechanic when the building starts.

I know there are plenty of shops out there but I was looking for recoomendations as to who/ where is good(live in Renfrew) and also I would rather give money to someone who is associated with the club than a complete stranger or a big company.

    Thanks Jonathan

  3. Hello Alan,

Thanks for the reply, I think I know what you mean by the Blue bridge so hopefully I can follow the directions ok and make it there for leaving at half 9. Looking forward to meeting you guys

    Thanks Jonathan

  4. Hey,

I joined the forum last week and was thinking of coming out with you guys on Sunday to see how I go if that's cool.

Can I get to the club house from the cycle path if I'm coming from Paisley direction ???

    Thanks Jonathan

  5. Hello everyone,

I am Jonathan from Renfrew and have joined the forum at long last(after many discussions with Ritchie Cross) with a view to coming along on a Sunday to try and get fit. I have been cycling for a few years and mainly going out myself so I have no idea how fit I will be so think I'll keep an eye out for the shortest runs.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of your members on the Braveheart ride 2007 and to be perfectly honest if it hadn't been for him I would have chucked it after about 15 miles because I was so knackered. He kept me going till I got my second wind and completed the 44 mile course and felt brilliant afterwards so thanks to that man !!!!!!

I am really looking forward to coming along to some of the runs but please go easy on me if I am hanging on at the end trying to keep everyone in view :lol::lol:
