  1. How about getting a JWCC ladies (sub) team together for this event? There are enough of us about surely:

    Thinking...

Vicky Begg? (can be poached if needs be, provided another candidate of similar calibur is fielded!)

    Alanna Steele?

    Elaines - Sandison and Muirhead?

    Pauline Aitchison?

    Carol Cowan?

    Jan Lapsley?

    Joan?

    Kay Tennant - confirmed interested

    Me - confirmed interested

  2. Thanks very much Richie - if you let me know what you would like to donate (PM me if you prefer) I'll arrange to pick it up from you this week. I am planning to be over at the Westferry TT tomorrow night to collect some of the other money and don't know if you would plan be there - if not I will make other arrangements.

    Thanks again

  4. A good "combo" run today, chumming the 30 milers to Gourouck initially. The intermediates headed for Largs, where the fast chaps caught up with us just in time for the cafe stop. We came home via Brisbane Glen, the Whynn (sp?) and the track from Kilamcolm. Very enjoyable, thanks

    Mary

    p.s Hope Dave's OK.

p.p.s. We got wet too - several times!

  5. Dear all, RSN (Real Soon Now).

I am participating in a sponsored cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats (28th July 2012 to 6th August 2012) to raise money for Brain Tumour UK.

I am cycling the Carlisle to Alexandria leg on 3rd August (120 miles) and would be really grateful if you would sponsor me - any/all contributions welcome.

I'll confirm once I've done it (photographic evidence can be provided!) and monies can be sent to or collected by me (Mary Ashworth) or Iain Cowden.

    Thank-you

    Mary

P.S. I do have an official sponsor form but can't work out how to attach it as a link!

  6. Unfortunately I can't make this now as my stage of the Lands End to John O'Groats sponsored cycle falls on the same weekend and Iain is out on account of a racing commitment. A shame, but enjoy the fabulous run - hope you get the weather.

    Mary and Iain
