  1. Duncan, Tom would have scored 2 points but was about 7 hours 46 minutes late with his submission Colin
  2. Wow......Jann storms it again 1st place with 9 points (Radioshack in 2nd and Garmin in top 3) Joint 2nd Me, Ramsay and Duncan with 4 points (could have been joint 1st Duncan ) Too many to mention in 3rd with 2 points As Ramsay has focused my attention to the late entries I have reffered back to my original posts and have deducted 5 points from the overall scores of those who submitted entries after the deadline So all that leaves our table looking like this: 1st Jann 31 points 2nd Richie 24 points 3rd Me 21 points Joint 4th Billy and David 20 points 5th Duncan 13 points 6th Paul M 12 points 7th Chung 11 points 8th Paul C 7 points Joint 9th Kenny S (no entry ), Greig (no entry ) and Ramsay 6 points Joint 10th Alan , Tom and Martin (no entry ) 0 points Colin
  3. "Anyway they have not yet started" Such blatant disregard for the rules !!!!!!!! At least Paul came up with an excuse (a rather weak one....) In normal circumstances a points deduction would apply but then you don't have any Alan Paul, you have until 1300 to get your selections in. Otherwise you will loose all points pertaining to the TTT. Have a nice day Colin

  6. Didn't think Wiggins was going to get anywhere near the winning time after watching him skitter around some of those corners. And to put soooooo much time into Martin. 14. I think 'Ive got one in me garage Kenny. Just let me know if you need it and I can arrange to be in. I also have a wee gadgy somewhere that goes into the lockring and braces against the chainstay. Pedal force is used to loosen the lockring but not so sure it good for your chainstay though Colin

Sorry to the 0900 group from last Sunday. I wasn't in a very good position when you came by and not many shots worked (either that or Elaine is the only photogenic one of the lot of yous ) Colin

  17. Oh yeah, meant to say.................. Not a bit of ice at that time either. Are you sure you guys are not just getting too used to flat roads??????? Memories of days gone by with snow banks at either side of the road at the "wall" are still fresh Perhaps someone should contact the Nove organisers and advise them that if snow is evident atop their big mountains alternative flat routes should be avaliable for those in blue and yellow Falling off is all part of the experience and how do you expect to learn to tuck and roll if you never expose yourself to the risk??????? Seriously though, has any thought been put into having more pink in the Wheelers on Tour top for the Nove???
  18. So who can claim to have completed the original route then???? I suspect only Mike Ferguson as he was the only one to pass me on Phil's Folly at around 11am.
  19. 1st David - 16 points 2nd Billy - 14 points 3rd Duncan - 9 points 4th Chung - 7 points Joint 5th Kenny and Paul M - 6 points Joint 6th Me, Richie and Jann - 4 points 7th Greig - 2 points Joint 8th - Paul C, Tom, Ramsay, Alan and Martin - 0 points Points table above ammended to reflect the error so capably pointed out by David. Unfortunately that means that Billy has been pipped to the post (not the first time big man ) Muliti million excell spreadsheet let down by 2 bob operator who neglected to include the points for Valverde Colin
  20. Tour of Oman starts 14th February. Predictions required for: Overall top 3 (red jersey) Top 3 Points competition (Green jersey) How many stages for Cav Web site with details here http://www.tourofoman.om/ Predictions required by 23.59 on 13th. Colin
  21. The first race of our season has now ended (whilst most of us were ) with Billy and David roaring into the lead - not often you get to hear that Billy All that training must be paying off for your grey matter what with no power increase and no weight loss So our first table of the year looks like this: Joint 1st Billy and David - 14 points 2nd Duncan - 9 points 3rd Chung - 7 points Joint 4th Kenny and Paul M - 6 points Joint 5th Me, Richie and Jann - 4 points 6th Greig - 2 points Joint 7th - Paul C, Tom, Ramsay, Alan and Martin - 0 points Some noticable early season mistakes - Martin no entry and Alan no team selected Our new signings seem to be settling in well with good performances from David, Chung and Kenny. Old hand and former champ Duncan has clearly trained well over the winter and is up for the fight. Look out for Tour of Oman and required predictions. Colin
  22. Tom, Gave your suggestion some serious thought but given Alans selections are pants I think we'll let him off. Really hoping this doesnt come back to haunt me Colin

  24. Richie, Try: George McAskill 07718853479 Used to work with him and would have him do any work if I needed it. Dont know if he still does homers but would be worth a call. Colin
