ROBBED, ROBBED, Ballan (I) wiz Robbed!!!!!!!!!
If Sean Kelly reckons Ballan was second that's good enough for me
Anyhow, despite the obvious injustice it must be acknowledged that Tornado Toms ride was awesome
So our Paris Roubaix winner (courtesy of a well played joker) is Duncan with 30 points
Second goes to Jann and Paul C ("I didn't copy Jann honest" ) with 14 points (Boonen 1st and Ballan 3rd)
Third is shared between too many to mention all with Boonen in 1st so 10 points.
Overall Table:
1st David 108 points
2nd Jann 107 points
3rd Richie 94 points
4th Ramsay 86 points
5th Paul M 84 points
6th Me 83 points
7th Alan 74 points
8th Duncan 73 points
9th Tom 68 points (no entry )
10th Billy 67 points
11th Greig 59 points
12th Chung 54 points
13th Paul C 39 points
14th Kenny 36 points

Anybody know where you can get them? I'm sure I've seen Ramsay with some form of cover. Fed up replacing worn cleats when most of the wear comes from walking to the train/cafe etc.

Paul
Alan did indeed score 20 points for the overall in TA.
He also scored 2 points for Cancellara in the top 3 of the ITT hence 2 points.
Total = 22 points
Anybody else??????????? Just incase I did spell results wrong in my last posting
Even so.... he would still be ahead of you
Colin
-
David,
You are once again correct (well partly at least )
The supercomputer was a bit tired the night I tallied up the results
So....... you are due 17 points for correct prediction of 1st and 2nd place climbers
You also score 4 points for Nibali and Kreuziger (top 3 but in wrong positions)
That makes 21 points???????
HOWEVER - your 10 points for Cancellara do not count to the overall TA results as they have been awarded as a seperate score for the ITT only. If Tom had his 10 points he would still have won the overall as he would have had 32 points
Therefore you get second overall
Points table and resukts updated to reflect this in previous posting

Soooooo many people with Cancellara for the win today
Is easier to say who lost out - Billy, Greig (no entry), Ramsay, Paul C and Alan all missed out on the sure bet
Overall Tirrenno Winner - Tom 22 points (Cav 1 win, Nibali 1st GC, Sagan top 3 points)
2nd place David 21 points
3rd place Jann and Alan 20 points
Overall table:
Joint 1st Billy and Jann 67 points
2nd Tom 64 points
3rd Paul M 62 points
Joint 4th Me and David 60 points
5th Richie 54 points
6th Chung 44 points
7th Ramsay 42 points
8th Greig 40 points (no entries )
9th Duncan 37 points
10th Alan 22 points (and finally off the mark)
11th Paul C 13 points
12th Kenny S 6 points (have you given up already???????)
13th Martin 0 points (is there anybody out there?!?!?!?!?!?)
Ramsay is correct that MSR predictions are required by 23.59 Friday (2 great engineering minds think alike ).

For those whose memory is failing them due to age or those who just can't be a***d looking back through the previous postings:
Additional Scoring Oppertunity - Each entrant will have 2 joker cards. One will apply to classic races and one to Grand Tours (Italy, France and Spain). These will be worth TRIPLE points, must be notified with original predictions and will work as follows:
Classics - Choose which top 3 you have selected has the most chance of success and play joker. Any points scored will be x3. Be careful though as you only have 1 card so can only choose 1 race to play it
Grand Tours - Same as above but applies to one category within a race only (ie Overall, Climbers or Sprinters). So if you think you have chosen the top 3 sprinters in the TDF then play your joker for points x3
Colin
-
Remember folks, Milan San Remo this coming Saturday
Predictions required for top 3.
Also this is the first of the classics that you can play your joker card on for the possibility of triple points . You can only use it once though so be careful
Paul, gave up on the spreadsheet and have reverted to using the supercomputer that I have been developing over the last 36 years
