A topical issue at the moment but can anyone give advice on insurance. I've been on the BCF website and they have their Gold, Silver Bronze schemes but are there alternatives / discounts through the club or SCU?

I'm not planning on any open events. The cover should be for when I'm on the bike and probably few confined events during the season.

The details of the Girvan 3 day can be found at http://www.girvanrace.info/ and there is no mention of Largs or anywhere else north of Girvan. The stages are concentrated mainly south of Girvan.

Up until today I had a 300kbps broadband connection for which I paid £17.99 a month. My mate calls me and tells me to follow the simple steps at the end of this posting on the ntlworld.home page and bing I now pay the same amount for a 1Mb connection. Seems that NTL are keeping this free upgrade quiet. I don;t don't what happens with the higher speeds but at least the upgrade to 1Mb works. You will need your ntl username and password.

So what's the plan? Is there going to be an APR on saturday at RNAD? How many laps? Is anyone going to do it? I would if we had enough bodies for a decent session. In the past few years myself and a couple of others have turned up only to find no-one there...which is annoying

The clear blue skies were too much of as temptation so decided to re-arrange my working day and get out for a couple of hours. What a difference a bit of sunshine makes to a run, especially after recent weeks
