Total disaster trying to get out of Glasgow tonight! Gt western and Dumbarton rd both jammed up! Sorry I missed the ride! It was nearly 7 by the time I made it to the erskine bridge.

Hi Jim,

I always quite enjoy the spectacle of the TTT and if no-one else volunteers could be the team car. Though in saying that, I would need an assistant 'cos It's difficult to drive and change wheels at the same time.

Much as I like to support events, unless a team is even vaguely matched then it makes working together as a team very difficult.

I really hadn't planned on racing much at all this year, unless for fun, so if others are willing to take the event on in with this in mind I don't mind giving it a shot.

I'll do the 25tt the next week.

Actually, if you are coming onto A736 from Caldwell Golf Club, that's past Uplawmoor (isn't it?) you should turn LEFT back towards Uplawmoor and Barrhead and pass below Uplawmoor. Did I say the Petrol station was on the right as you drive towards Irvine??? Its possible ( I am crap with left and right). I meant its on the LEFT as you drive towards Irvine. Either way SHILFORD is before Uplawmoor as you drive from Barrhead towards Irvine.

'Shilford, Lochlibo Rd, Neilston, Glasgow, Lanarkshire G78, UK', stick this into Google maps

Get to Barrhead, probably via the Clyde Tunnel, Cardonald, Hurlet. Turn right at the roundabout in Barrhead along the Main St and head through the town - taking a mainly uphill direction. Follow signs for Irvine, stay on the main rd A736.

This is the road the route follows. Travel about 5miles out this road, Shilford is missable if you blink so try not to!

Builders yard (buses seem to be parked in it) is just before the petrol station on the left hand side as you go towards Irvine.

I might actually do this, Frank. I was thinking it was going to be on Tuesday night and can't manage that 'cos of coaching stuff/distance/timings.
