When is the race Paul?

Friday 10th is good. No karaoke though - it gives me dreadful indigestion.
Cheers

I thought this might be of interest to some folks
http://tdf.polar.fi/tourdefrance/heartrates.html
They will publish graphs of some of the competitors heart rates during the race.
Cheers

I can give a lift to 2 folks with bikes to Largs tomorrow to catch the ferry. Either post or call me (home 01505 324441, mobile 07711 257272). I think Paul McSkimming's computer is down and I dont have his phone number so could someone tell him to give me a call if he'd like a lift.
I hear there's snow forecast Does that meen mudguards are required?

What's the difference between the Scottish defence and a Glasgow Taxi driver?
The taxi driver only lets in 5!

Hope you all have a good one. Wish I was coming too - put my name down for next time. If you can't agree on where to eat on Saturday night (and after reading all the posts above I think this is fairly likely!! :? ) the Brodick Bar is a good bet (it's up the wee side street behind the chinese take away opposite all-days). Not the cheapest in the world but fantastic grub. They've got Arran blonde on tap while you wait for a table (and on a Saturday night you'll need to).
Enjoy
Stephen
PS If you go round twice I'd be keen to know which way round you think is best. I went round anticlockwise this Easter (solo) and nearly had to pack it in on the Soutern half. The last hill between Lamlash and Brodick was awful

Not sure if there is anyone else interested but I noticed that the Johnstone telephone exchange has been upgraded to broadband capacity as of 1st October. It seems to cover a fairly large area (I'm in Houston) so may affect a large number of interested parties in the club.

I think this would be a an excellent way to promote the club. I'm up for it and will lead the 10k BUT WOULD PREFER NOT TO DO IT ON MY OWN IF YOU GET MY DRIFT.
