How about Friday 17th Nov, Curry Shop just up from Dooleys, 7.30pm, for their grand bouffet which is £17.50 for 5 drinks and as much munchies as you can eat.
Anyone else interested in this date???

Hows this for a conundrum,
I think its right that you only vote if you are going. So, I voted a few days ago. However, what if you can only go on the date you voted for. If it is not, and you can't go, then you should not have voted in the first place
Answers on a postcard and you can win a branded SS bike attachment that carries 8 bottles of wine and keeps them chilled

Yes it was me, you're obviously an early bird like myself !
I really wished we'd hooked up for a chat. I did the Gaucin run in reverse on my last day yesterday, Duquesa - Gaucin - Jimena - Sotogrande - Duquesa. I reckon its one of the best runs I've ever done.
I'd been in Duquesa for 2 weeks and just returned today, went out most mornings for 2-3 hours at 7am whilst the family were sleeping, except after days in the mountains when my legs would not move. This was my first time in Costa Del Sol and its one of the best places I've ever cycled, what more can you want than 20 - 21 degrees at 7am, roads like glass, high mountains, not much traffic and beatiful scenery.
Have you done the Los Reales out of Estopona? Puts the Alpe D'Huez to shame, 1450m vertical gain in 15km - I was in the 25 (lowest I had) for almost all of the time it took me to climb it which was the best part of 1.1/2 hours. Pure dead brilliant it is.
Good chance I'll be back for more next summer if not before so will give you a shout

Got Jim's number ok. Thanks to those who sent it through.
He's a bit beaten up but will be ok. I'm sure he will fill in the details when the 8 stitches in his hand heal up ?!?!?!

Has anyone got a phone number for Jim Daly. He unfortunately had a crash today at the TLI race and got taken to hospital.
Meantime I have his car keys and need to get in touch with him.
Thanks

Stevie
What kind of gears would you recommend? - I was planning to take a 39-25 smallest.
By the way, me and Darryl went round the 3 lochs with the Anniesland today in the most shi*****te weather imaginable. Heavy, freezing rain, it was a survival job at the end. Can't complain too much though, the weekend weather so far this year has been excellent.
Enjoy it

Sorry Stevie, its a bit of a non event for me this year due to work commitments. At least I'll be on my bike though, as I'll be cycling home from work this evening.
cheers

What can I say - sifting through The Herald on Saturday night to find a full 2 page spread on bycycle polo !! - with Kenny (very photogenic) MacD in full frontal action on his polo bike !! The other photo with MacD junior, Alan Y and Derek was equally impressive.
Impressive stuff, and excellent coverage for cycle sport.
