  1. Right,I think we go for the first weekend in October as this seems to be best for most so far. Curry night, where do ya fancy?,somewhere different from previous?,and midweek or Friday?,so many questions eh?,I dont want to appear to be making all the decisions you know!!

  2. Could any interested parties post their interest for this years trip and any preffered accomodation and dates and we will maybe have a curry night out to finalise details.Has always been a great trip, all you need is a bike and a sense of humour,Martin is covering all costs this year he told us up at the Bealach!!! Hello, beer !!;-)

  3. Yes indeedy. A big thanks from me too to all involved Oh ya dancer ! . I can't believe for the second week running I have rode my bike for over 90 miles,at times good hard riding, tough climbing, fast descents, good chat, funny stories all in the company of the GRC :-?:-? Brilliant guys, good on you,you lot know how to party on a bike. A big well done to everyone else out there too from clubs all around our area and beyond, even Glasgow United who, like the GRC look great in their new kit, pity John McGrory's patter is so predictable!!!! :smash Best bike of the day?....Mullhooligan junior's new wee Giant T-Mobile replica,Im sure he will soon be riding us into pulp up the Rest.

  4. Well don't know about you but Im scunnered!!! Apart from tarnishing our sport even further it gives all the folk who know nothing about cycling more scandal to throw at us!! :angryfire

  5. Ian,if you think I am doing that for my 30th birthday your havin a laugh,I was thinking of doing one of those things where you get full support every day like Martin and Stevie did this year in Italy and the boys did a couple of years back,Im gettin older I need to take care of myself!!!

  6. Fantastic Scott, well done mate, considering the little amount of riding you have done this year that's a major achievment. Your story is a treat to read,it brought back many memories of those mountains we shared that year too.Not beeing the greatest climber in the land these mountains are amazing to climb and the satisfaction in doing so is to behold,I dont know how long the Marmotte would have taken me but it would be far short of you Im sure.I hope it gives you a renewed enthusiasm for the bike and that you find the time to join more of us for a ride soon, remember your long sleeved gilet though!!!!!!!! :-P . Well done again.

  7. Cadel Evans!! Oh ya dancer ! Ex mtb world champ. Weak team but the rest will not exactly be so strong now will they?. I think there is a lot more to come from this investigation. At least we will have one helluva exciting race, nothing certain now. Also Floyd Landis is in with a shout I would say. Imagine if Lance was still riding?,he could win it on a unicycle!!!

  8. Kenny,a fine topic of conversation for the curry table tonight. If your doin it before you come out to play, clean and lube your chain, lube cables and replace as necessary and adjust mech screws and if that does not work order another drink and a garlic nan!!!!!!! Hello, beer !!

  9. Please don't be put off by the fact that outwith myself there seems to be a few fast guys going to the curry night this friday 26th. Anyone else fancy coming along to balance up the table?,your all most welcome.Details in other posting by Scott D.
