  1. Boys, boys, boys. You delight in anothers fortune at owning such a fab bit of kit!! Martin,if I use any of those names it would suggest that not only do I use these products but would be trying to sell them via our website,I suppose I could then sponsor the club, how would that look,Viagra next to Sean and Suzanne's salon?,maybe there's a marketing ploy there some where?.Davie, good shout,I would like to tell you that you were first with that suggestion but Ian Manson beat you to it last week via a PM,sorry mate, but thanks anyway.Still undecided, but just be sure that I do own the driest, shiny'est bike out there at the moment,no change there then eh?!!! :-P

  2. It is with some sadness but also delight that I announce the demise of Dougie Da Rosa. I have taken the hard decision to sell my beloved King and replaced it with a Cervelo R3 SL. I have still to ride it proper so cant comment on whether it is better than the Italian stallion but first reaction is its a beaut.I am in the process of changing my username so watch out and see if you spot it quickly, see you all out there soon.Doooogs. 8-)

  3. Bob,obviously Ian was unaware that I had paid my dues again as I was ther e from 7.30am with him to fence off the course, put up signs and marshall all day and then take down the tape and signs again, arriving home at about half 6....a brilliant day was had,and plenty thanks given by Ian and organisers.Cant speak for others only to say they missed great racing and effort by entrants, better to spectate at a mountain bike race than road or TT in my opinion. 8-)

  4. Ha,thought I would do it whilst you were away to maybe avoid you transfering them to your offshore account(Ardrossan that is)!!!. Met our old pal MrBrogan at hte MTB champs yesterday with his champ daughter, was great to get a laugh with him again, see you soon too Ian.Enjoy the rest of your hols. 8-)

  5. Jings crivvens, help ma Boab (Sharp)!!! If I had known the arguments I was about to start I might have accepted Roabies bung of a roll and snarler to join the Road club!!! Nah only kidding. Cheers Bob,and others. Might even need to buy some new road kit from the club as mine is about 4 years old now, still got the one wi the mad butcher on the shoulders!!.,will see how much money I have left after paying my fees.See you all soon.

  6. After much deliberation and munching chocolate I am going to dig out the King and start a bit of serious training on the road.Have been mountain biking a lot, competing, and having a blast.I feel that I need a wee bit extra for the mtb marathons I am doing so some long hard runs are order of the day for me.My membership fees will be in the post or via paypal once I get pointed in the right direction.Look forward to meeting up with some old friends and also some new faces.See you soon. 8-)
