I second Greig's post. Thanks guys.
Also thanks to AllanM for dragging me round.
Not at all Ian, it was a team effort and not bad for a first attempt. If we get a bit better at the changing routine, more than twice between the start and the roundabout!!! then I'm sure we'll improve. Hopefully go again next Tuesday.

Far too many Ian's in this club!!
Is that 6 or 7 now?
Also quite a few Als/Alans/Allans!
Hi Allan I don't think we did on the basis that I wasn't on the Kilcreggan run lol. Anyway regardless would still be great to buddy up for this. Where do we meet?
No worries Ian, see you tomorrow.

Good run yesterday on a good route. Thanks for waiting at the top of the Crow!

I'd be interested in giving this a go if any of the other newbies fancy partnering up either this week or next?
Hi Ian, we met on the Kilcreggan run last week. I haven't done one of these events before but wouldn't mind giving it a go. I'm sure someone will give us a clue. See you on Tuesday.

Commie games finish Sunday 3rd August. London event is Sunday 10th and is well worth doing. Either take your chances in the ballot or get a guaranteed place via a charity.

I'll join in. See you at the bridge at 9.30.

Really enjoyed today's run. Good route, pity we didn't have time for Glen Fruin. A challenging but just manageable pace, apart from on the hills!
Appreciated Mark's organisation and everyone's company.

Very enjoyable run with Andrew and Elaine. 65 miles to Dalry, West Kilbride, Largs and back via Brisbane Glen and Old Greenock Road.
Bit wet for the first 64 miles, very mild and no wind. Two out of three ain't bad.
Andrew treated us to coffee and cakes. In return we listened (nervously) to his stories of good looking guys, wigs and Alice bands!

Hi Andrew run sounds good. I'll meet you south side of bridge at 09.00.

Hi Greig, we met on one (or two) of the Reliability runs and I’ve been out with a few of the Wheelers since then. I'm keen to take part in more Sunday runs but this weekend I’m doing the Tour o’ the Borders in Peebles.

Enjoyed the run today guys, at least as much as I could manage!
Charlie & Billy’s efforts from Inverkip leading us to Largs was impressive as was the disdain they showed to their fellow riders who rather sheepishly sprinted past them at the end.
I knew in the café that I’d struggle to keep to the pace on the way back and the plan to speed up to West Kilbride sounded ambitious. When I’d lost the last wheel before Hunterston I decided to head over Fairley Moor. The combination of a steep hill and headwind allowed me to go at a suitably slow pace without feeling too bad about myself!
I understand from McGinty that Charlie came back to look for me. Apologies Charlie but I couldn’t get close enough to the bunch to tell you I was taking a diversion.
Cheers

Yup great run today in baltic conditions. Over 85 miles for me, must have been nearly 100 for some. The soup and coffee was very welcome and the late puncture was a challange for cold, stiff fingers! Enjoyed the company, thanks.

Hi Chung
Great route today, thanks for organising and thanks to everyone else for their company.
The craic along the way was good and doing the Crow Road in such benign conditions was almost a pleasure…almost! As was seeing Bill’s bluenose turn red!
There is a simple reason why some of us stick to coffee and a scone… 20kg difference between your skinny frame and us big boys...or 40g difference in the case of young Mark!
Bill, Campbell and I choose the Hardgate overpass rather than Kilbowie roundabout. Our lead evaporated however when I punctured in Erskine!
Cheers

Good to meet you today John.
Good fun despite the rain, the punctures, irritable drivers and moaning pedestrians.
...and your team won!

Hi Ian
I’ll join you on Saturday morning. Just back from holiday so trying to keep up with you is just what’s required.
Weather forecast looks fine.
See you at yours at 9am.

New to the Board. Been out a couple of times recently with the Main Bunch but being older, fatter and slower than most, I struggled. Read your posts on the Intermediate Bunch and thought I'd join in tomorrow. There maybe a couple of mates joining also. Hope that's ok.
Cheers
