    Lovely ride down to Dalry with a tailwind. My trip was cut short when my rear rim overheated and failed coming down Fairlie Moor. Long walk down to the coast road. I caught the train home and still beat Mark, Duncan and Darryl who came back by Brisbane Glen and Whin.

    Weather wet, wetter, windy, dry up from ferry.

    Cafe stops 3- caffine rules.

    Distance 170 kms.

    Total climb 2000 mtrs.

     

    Next mountain stage + 1 col and better weather with any luck..

  3. Hi Guys..Johnstone Wheelers new Winter Training Camp has just started up 8-) .. I have been over here since Monday, weather has been fantastic,back home Sunday, seriously this is a option for winter Runs..Rynair Prestwick to Girona- 2 hours.. $75-00 return...Youth Hostel $18-00 a night..food cheap and good :-P

    The roads have no pot holes smooth surface and traffic next to nothing. This is a cyclists dream for winter runs ! :shock: Campbell H...

    Yes a fantastic day over the clyde to Dunoon, sorry I missed the 9 am ferry,

    but managed the 9.30 am one, good bit of luck to meet up at Strachur Cafe,

    A nice run back to the ferry terminal with "Da Boonch" as Shaun Kelly would say,

    Looking forward to the Centuary Run this Sunday,

  5. I am new to this posting thing as you can see,

    Well I need to thank Dennis for his company down to Largs today, and thankyou for dropping in to see Alex on way back,

    sorry that Frank and Chung could not join us onto Largs, they had other

    engagements that afternoon.
