  1. The new bridge/cycle link is being opened tomorrow (Thursday 24th) at Quarriers Homes. I've been asked to attend by cycling scotland and the Quarriers Community and I've also been asked to see if anyone from the club wants to come over to boost the cyclists numbers. I think it starts at about 3:45 or 4pm and there will be papers and stuff there for publicity. Please come over if you have the time and get your fotie taken.

To get there you come off the cycle track to the left before the warriors on the Bridge of Weir to Kilmacolm stetch and from there to the village is the new bit being opened.

  2. Well done Aileen and Kenny. I think you could say that they were both miles ahead of the opposition! Aileen's video was certainly a lot better than mine as it was filmed by the BBC (I think). Totally brilliant and well deserved.

  4. Well done to Aileen. Olympic gold, cool as 8-) ! Definitely been a good weekend for the wheelers.

I would have posted my result myself yesterday but spent the day sleeping! 10 hours between heats and getting to bed at 4am certainly takes its toll...... No alcohol involved, honest!

Winning the gold is a good feeling, especially when your mother is bouncing off the walls....... and all because George wanted a rainbow jersey!?!?!?!

  5. George and I tried this out last year and it was a total laugh (sorry if you take it seriously!). Be prepared for the youngsters (including Scott Robertson) to literally run rings around you.

Oh, and it's a good chance to practice falling off (soft grass) and get completely bogging. :!:

  6. I've no idea if I'm doing this right! But if anyone receives this by mistake could they pass it on because I'm useless!!!!

    I need

1 skinsuit for a girly (size 3 - or 12, whatever it comes as)

1 short sleeved top for Geo (size 4)

1 short sleeved top for me (size 3)
