At last year’s event we had to present our passports to obtain our numbers & goodies.

I’d recommend printing off the above and bringing your passport to the sign on.

yeah, I think we can do all this on the Sat afternoon before we get bevvied..

I’ve got my travel ins through my bank account too, did you call them to specify the value of the bike Darryl ?

What bank account is this?

It’s a BOS rewards current account, you pay a small monthly fee and get various benefits, discount, etc, one of which is free annual travel insurance ..

You sure the bike is covered? I have an RBoS account with travel insurance but it specifically excludes bikes. Might need to change my bank!

Had to get cover from yellow jersey to take the bianchi to France.

They do have an option that covers you for racing and sportif riding btw.

Not sure about damage in the actual event, but should cover damage when transporting the bike...

Darryl, I’m not sure it would cover the full price of the bike. My insurance covers up to £1000. Adding a higher value becomes quite exhirbitant.

e.g. I have my Cervelo covered to the value of £4000. The monthly cost of doing so is higher than our house insurance. It’s a bit of a racket.

I’m sure it’ll be fine.
