It's the final confined event of the season, 600m long, 60m of up on the Elliston Castle Road hill climb.

There is a road closure notice in place for this event on Sunday 1st October, meeting at 09:30 for a 10:00 off, followed by an event for the Jets, involving a slightly shorter run. This is a 'whole club' event that usually attracts large numbers of riders and families. Club members are encouraged to wait and support the Jets on their efforts up the hill.

Following the hill climb, and once the barriers are tidied up, riders are free to set off in bunche rides to suit their temperament and condition.

We do need volunteers to hold, timekeep and marshall.

Sadly, I will not be able to attend this year

Forecast says rain on Sunday so will bring Jets easy up to use as a start house / shelter.

Do we have appointed timekeepers?

Got 9 Jets on our start sheet at the minute. Expecting a good few more, although there is a clash with the 1st CX race of the season over in Falkirk.

See you there,

Mul

Guys, it's the final confined event of the season. It's hard but only a couple of minutes of all out effort. It's usually well attended, and it's good to see the Jets out sprinting up the hill that the adults have slogged up earlier.

The more that take part, the more of an occasion it becomes.
