Richie Cross
After consulting with Greg, it'll be the usual run to Aberfoyle via Dumbarton and Drymen. Up the Dukes to Callander then turn round and back over the Dukes to Aberfoyle. Coffee/food either at Aberfoyle or Callander. Decent hills and fairly quiet roads/track back from Aberfoyle:) gregbalden and Iain67

2023 Subscriptions gregbalden Posted June 25, 2017 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted June 25, 2017 Cracking day today. Good company, good route decent weather. Richie Cross
Decent weather!!??? My first road miles since the end of May and the wind made me feel it! Cheers for the wheels. I literally wouldn't have made it otherwise!! Next ride...Marmotte!! Can't say I'm too optimistic about it but hopefully if we manage our pacing then we'll just about make it!! 2023 Subscriptions charlie p Posted June 25, 2017 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted June 25, 2017 Great day out today just under 75 miles for me. Greg just love your progression quote. Ian holms & me had our intermediate hats on today. Our combined age is 121. We were hoping that u guys would disappear up Dukes Pass so we could have a chilled coffee & cake & a meander back but the smell of the coffee was too much for u all P McDonald, Gerard Deeley, Ian Holms and 2 others

Members Iain67
Cracking day all round, good run and new grandson to top it off. Legs busted doing a TT on the way back, hard slog into that wind on my own but worth it to get to see the wee man tonight. Will go to bed a happy and tired Papa..... robster82, Ian Holms, Gerard Deeley and 2 others
Ian Holms
Totally agree, smashing but tough run today. Not sure I've progressed to the " Fast bunch" though. It was hard on the climbs especially with Cedric pushing on.Oh he thought that I was climber too. Gérard, your puncture predicament made us all laugh, but I wasn't laughing when Iain McG punctured at the crest of the Erskine bridge! ! It was freezing. So a refreshment stop in Bish was the answer.
