Tony
Night ride on minor roads at a fairly pedestrian pace, mainly to get some miles in. Route will be one of these three: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/11108356 http://ridewithgps.com/routes/11108168 http://ridewithgps.com/routes/11105146 Mainly c-roads. See link below: http://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Classified_Unnumbered_Road ...expect gravel, wet leaves, pine-needle mush etc The plan is to leave Miller St at 1930 and be back between 2130 and 2200. You will need good lights and the front one needs to be powerful enough to light up the road. Also bear in mind what I have said about leaves, gravel etc - these and other small obstacles are harder to see at night even with a powerful headlamp. MTB/CX bike recommended. chung

Tony
Another lovely ride tonight, under a full moon: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/967654279 Yes Ian a 500 lumen light should be fine. I don't think mine is any brighter than that. ginty001
