Ian Porteous
I might speculatively throw my name in for this, think registration is Nov 6. Route looks brutal 142km and over 4,000m climbing (so definitely one for the climbers). I'm feeling inspired after taking Contador on l'Alpe d'Huez last night! I know some of you were thinking of doing Giro di Lombardia but this could be equally challenging I think. Here's a link: http://www.sportive.com/etape-du-tour/515512/etape-du-tour-2015-route-analysis-saint-jean-de-maurienne-to-la-toussuire Any takers? Life Members chung Posted October 22, 2014 Life Members Report Share Posted October 22, 2014 Hi Ian, Good on you for taking on the Etape, no doubt you'll enjoy and excel in it! If you do sign up for it then I would suggest you have a wee chat with our very own Campbell Hutcheson - an experienced Etaper, with no less than 8/9 Etape & a Marmotte (just for good measures :-)) he'll give you some helpful advise for sure! Anyway, have a blast and the journey starts when you press that entry button :-) and I'm sure it'll be a magical one! Cheers Chung

Ian Porteous
After a near death experience of my own today, don't think I could face the wind and rain tomorrow, but I should definitely be out next week. Are you planning on making it 11 next year?
