AllanC
Hello, I'm thinking about booking a cycling holiday for next year and wondered if anyone has any experience of using the company Exodus? http://www.exodus.co.uk/cycling-holidays Any feedback would be welcome. Thanks Allan
Tony
Why don't you just organise your own cycling holiday Alan? The planning (buying maps, working out your route, finding places to stay and so on) is half the fun. I used to go cycle-touring quite a lot before my kids came along. I did go on a couple of commercial cycling holidays but the ones I planned myself were the best. If you're really not keen on the DIY approach I'd recommend you start with the CTC: http://www.cyclingholidays.org/tours/index.php ...their cycle tours are organised by genuine enthusiasts, i.e. people who are doing it mainly for fun rather than profit. AllanC
Thanks for the feedback Tony. I will most likely be going solo so the thought of meeting other people in an organised holiday appeals. But I will review CTC. AllanC
Slight change of tact. Has anyone used http://www.stephenroche.com/ in Mallorca? Their website looks exactly what I'm looking for in terms of a goal to work towards to motivate me to get back on my bike!
