james-maclaren Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 17, 2013 Hi, it looks like my best option is to buy a Shimano Sora 3500 9 Spd Double Groupset, only problem being that it does not come with a category "c" set of gearing for Hamish. The gearing that is offered for the rear cassette is 11-25, 12-23, 12-25, 13-25, or 14-25, and for the front ring 170 34/50 or 175 34/50. Which should I go for? Hi James, Just to let you know that Dooleys are getting in a groupset for me for a similar price to what I would pay from Ribble. This should include the shifters, but thanks anyway.
