Committee Alan McLean Posted April 15, 2012 Committee Report Share Posted April 15, 2012 Brilliant weather at this nice wee event which attracted bike clubs as well as usual tri suspects. Performance of the day from Graeme Cockburn late of Ivy/Gales/now Glasgow Wheelers with a blistering 45 mins (fastest on the day) for a hilly 27k bike leg in only his second duathlon. Other riders from Inerclyde Velo and Dooley's also well up in the field. I think it is easier to take up duathlon from a biking background rather than a running background. I had a poor bike leg. My excuse is that I had loose stem bolts and spent most of the ride holding the bars up, rather than vica versa. It got "interesting" on the swoopy downhills. New excuse next week. I am affiliated to a tri club but wore my lovely Endura JWCC trisuit as usual. The organisers got the results online by the time I got home. excellent work http://www.ayrodynamic.co.uk/curr_results.htm. Alan

KennyS
Nice one, Alan Was staying at Craig Tara for kids football over the weekend and seen the signs on Sunday morning. Did you have to contend with the temp lights on the outskirts of Ayr
