These are very strong and weigh about 1930grams. When boardman first starting doing the team carbon there was some reported problems with the spokes coming lose but those were different spokes and that was 4 years ago. Since then you cannot find a bad report on these. Just a little heavy for claires bike but would suit a heavier guy / training. Sealed cartridge bearing will give low maintenance.
