KennyS
Having spoken to a few members over the last week there has been some interest in a 10m Hilly Time Trial over the Langbank - Houston - Langbank road. Can we have a show of hands please for those who would be interested in riding such an event. Nothing stopping us from running a few of these if there is demand Would also appreciate if you could advise preferred evenings / mornings. Obviously we won't be able to accomodate everyone but we always try our best

2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted February 6, 2009 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 6, 2009 I'm keen. Not really bothered when. Confined events appear to be predominantly Tuesdays, so Thursdays would be good. I would prefer the Peesweep APRs to a hilly 10TT though! KennyS
Ramsay, When we say 'Hilly' it's not really. It's just a slight rise to ensure those who haven't taken the time to warm up get their heart rates to an appropriate level before reaching the turn. After which it's pretty much down hill all the way (or rather a slight decline and free wheel) to the finish

2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted March 18, 2009 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 I'll be there. Presume the start is just off the A8 roundabout on the Houston road (bottom of the hill)? Ramsay
KennyS
The start is just along from the Hungry Monk (fka Langbank Lodge). Do we have any volunteers for timekeeping? It should be possible with one person but may be better with two if there is a large field as you'll have to set the last rider off and then batter up the hill to the Gleddoch entrance for the finish Hope to be there. Still trying to finalise details with daughter number one and her SC RSR at Cathkin Braes
