2023 Subscriptions ginty001 Posted September 8, 2021 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 8, 2021 Is it straightforward to swap out sealed cartridge bearings on wheels, and are all wheels pretty much the same process? Cheers Ian
2023 Subscriptions AlanT Posted September 8, 2021 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 8, 2021 There are some minor variations, but essentially the same. Make sure you have the right size of drift and presser
2023 Subscriptions XXX Posted September 8, 2021 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 8, 2021 TBH if you don’t have the right tools you can make up a couple of botches to do it , generally front is easier, rear a bit more of a pain usually more bearings , just watch that you read the bearing manufactures instructions re grease , and remember they may need a few runs to run smoothly. I usually just get a shop to do it as most of my wheels have slightly different sizes so costs too much to get bearing press and tools
